What is organic sulfur, anyway? Is it the same as elemental sulfur?

Organic Sulfur is a white crystalline food supplement. Its technical name is Methylsulfonylmethane which is a natural substance found in many food sources that are endowed with sulfur. Methylsulfonylmethane is often abbreviated on Internet sites as MSM and has a chemical formula of (CH3)2SO2. MSM is approximately 34% elemental sulfur by weight, making it the richest source of this nutrient.

How is your organic sulfur produced? Is it plant-based or made in a chemical lab?

Patterned after a formula that Dr. Stanley Jacob and Dr. Robert Herschler developed during their employment at Crown Zellerbach, Organic Sulfur For Health’s food supplement is sourced from the lignin (wood pulp) of the Louisiana maritime pine tree. Due to restrictions placed in the United States, production of the white-colored organic sulfur crystals is completed overseas before they are delivered to my drop shipper in Utah for testing, purity compliance, and packaging.

Your organic sulfur seems more expensive than competing brands. Why?

Many MSM supplements can often be produced inexpensively because they are sourced from petrochemicals. Manufacturers often convert their MSM crystals into a powder that make it easier for them to package and ship, heat their MSM above sulfur’s melting point of 239.38°F, or produce their supplements in pill or tablet form that include additives or anti-caking agents like silicon dioxide or calcium stearate. These commonly deployed manufacturing practices destroy and inhibit sulfur’s natural health-giving qualities. If I am allergic to sulfur, can I take your supplement?

Sulfur allergies are usually associated with inorganic compounds of sulfur such as sulfites, sulfides, and sulfa drugs. For instance, sulfites (SO3) are commonly used in the food and wine industries as a mold inhibitor and preservative. The reason why some people are allergic to sulfites is open to debate. Their allergic reactions may be due to the sulfur dioxide vapors that emanate from foods that have been preserved with sulfites.

In addition, sulfa drugs are synthetic sulfonamide compounds that have been developed to inhibit bacterial growth. In recent years, penicillin and other antimicrobials have been found to be more effective than sulfa drugs, except when treating urinary tract infections and certain fungal diseases.

On the other hand, organic sulfur is an organic compound derived from the paper and pulp industry that makes an essential mineral of life – sulfur – bioavailable to the body. This organic form of sulfur helps our bodies perform two vital functions: it transports oxygen to enable healthy cell regeneration, and it creates harmless sulfate (SO4) compounds out of the waste material that it finds. Our body, in turn, disposes of these sulfates through regular bowel movements.

Can our body make its own sulfur internally?

Our bodies cannot make sulfur from the foods we eat and can only store very small amounts in our hair, skin, and nails. Moreover, we must replenish our source of sulfur every 12 hours.

What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended organic sulfur dosage for persons weighing up to 200 pounds is one teaspoon taken twice a day. Because chlorine inhibits sulfur from being absorbed in the body, dissolve the crystals in 2 ounces of hot water before drinking, or use distilled water. Afterward, immediately swallow another 10 ounces of pure water. Because sulfur has a bitter taste, you may wish to add other ingredients to your water mixture, such as maple syrup or apple cider vinegar. Watch this video for details.

Our organic sulfur is sanctioned for international trade via its assigned World Trade Organization number (WTO #2930.90). I’ve been diagnosed with cancer. How much sulfur should I take?

If you’re a cancer patient and have been undergoing conventional treatment administered by your allopathic doctor, the recommended dosage is ONE TABLESPOON taken THREE times a day. Your dosage needs to be increased to this level in order to help your body cope with the effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Is it possible to overdose on sulfur?

Sulfur is not toxic, and any excess that the body can’t use is flushed out.

How does sulfur remove toxins from our body?

Sulfur converts toxins into their sulfate form which is excreted in bowel movements.

Can I take my meds and supplements at the same time as organic sulfur?

To allow enough time for organic sulfur to make its way through your lymphatics and avoid any potential conflict with any prescription medicines or supplements (including vitamins), our standard recommendation to take your organic sulfur dosage first, then wait 30 minutes before taking your other products.

Is there a simple test that will show me whether organic sulfur is benefiting my skin?
