Being confronted with a cancer diagnosis can sound like a death sentence. For instance, in the United States, cancer is the second leading cause of death, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Leading Causes of Death

• Heart disease: 614,348
• Cancer: 591,699
• Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 147,101
• Accidents (unintentional injuries): 136,053
• Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 133,103

Readers are very likely to know at least one person who has either died from cancer recently or is awaiting or undergoing conventional medical treatment for the disease. Because many people do not adhere to a healthy lifestyle while their bodies are simultaneously subjected to various toxins in their food and environment, it has become much more difficult in modern times to avoid being afflicted with cancer. Individuals become susceptible to this disease because their immune systems are simply overwhelmed. At the same time, it may come as a surprise that a number of alternative modalities exist for treating cancer besides chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

First, let’s review the different cancer classifications as defined by the mainstream medical community.

Cancer Stage Grouping
Approved by the Cancer.Net Editorial Board, Sep. 2015

Stage 0. This stage describes cancer in situ, which means “in place.” Stage 0 cancers are still located in the place they started and have not spread to nearby tissues. This stage of cancer is often highly curable, usually by removing the entire tumor with surgery.

Stage I. This stage is usually a small cancer or tumor that has not grown deeply into nearby tissues. It also has not spread to the lymph nodes or other parts of the body. It is often called early-stage cancer.

Stage II and III. These stages indicate larger cancers or tumors that have grown more deeply into nearby tissue. They may have also spread to lymph nodes but not to other parts of the body.

Stage IV. This stage means that the cancer has spread to other organs or parts of the body. It may also be called advanced or metastatic cancer.

Healthy cells use oxygen for most of their chemical reactions. Nobel Prize Laureate Dr. Otto Warburg discovered that malignant tumors use a disproportionate amount of glucose — the sugar normally found in the blood — as fuel. Because of their huge appetite for glucose, cancer cells create only one-fifteenth of the amount of energy produced during normal cellular metabolism.

As noted by Dr. Mercola in his post entitled, “2008 Cancer Advances That Actually Make Cancer Worse:

Otto Warburg actually received a Nobel Prize for his observation of cancer cell physiology in 1934 that clearly demonstrated cancer cells require more sugar to thrive. Unfortunately, virtually no oncologists appreciate or apply this knowledge. Normalizing your insulin levels is one of the most powerful physical actions you can take to lower your risk of cancer.

The standard protocols of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery have been shown to increase the risk of spreading cancer and weakening the body.

Every cell in the body absorbs at least part of a chemotherapy drug. While chemotherapy may kill cancer cells, it also turns off the body’s immune system. Cancer cells replicate themselves faster than normal cells, and the cells that make up the hair on our head as well as our stomach lining reproduce quickly as well. It’s for that reason why cancer patients often go bald and suffer from nausea after undergoing chemotherapy.

In addition, chemotherapy drugs are classified as Class I carcinogens. The drugs are so dangerous that the nurses who handle them must wear leather aprons, face masks, and thick rubber gloves to avoid burning their skin. If some of the tumors survive the chemo while the immune system is not functioning at all, the cancerous cells are liable to reappear six months or a year later, stronger than ever. As a final ‘nail in the coffin,’ radiation destroys the bone marrow which serves as the center of the immune system.

Peggy Gannon has pursued a lifelong interest in health and nutrition and is a vocal advocate of local and organic foods. Her article posted on the The Best Years In Life website that is entitled, “Breast Cancer: A Preventable Disease Through Good Nutrition,” included the following observations:

I learned that cures for cancer exist… At least three names reappear at the center of the claims for cancer cures. Jerry Brunetti’s two-part documentary, Food As Medicine, recounts his personal experience in curing his lymphoma. Max Gerson’s career as cancer healer, carried on by his daughter, is detailed in the documentary Dying to Have Known. Both are available on line. Interestingly, both emphasize diet. And the concepts of Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer are embodied in what is called German New Medicine. These are only three of a variety of cancer therapies that promise affordable and commonsensical healing.

On Nov. 1, 2016, The Event Chronicle published Christina Sarich’s article entitled, “Coherent Light (Biophoton) Can Heal Cancer and Other Diseases.”

It has long been held that non-conventional treatments for cancer… couldn’t ‘cure’ a disease because medical science simply didn’t understand how these modalities worked. German researchers have proven, with special equipment created for the study of photons stored in our DNA, that there is no need for chemotherapy, or other invasive surgeries to cure the body of cancer. As neurophysiologist, Karl Pribram, has postulated, German experimental physicist, Fritz-Alfred Popp has demonstrated, and many ancient cultures have proven, cancer (along with many other diseases) die in the presence of light.

Lastly, a June 4, 2016 post on the Complete Health and Happiness website noted that Ohio State University researchers found that the Amish are not plagued by high rates of cancer within their communities, even though they don’t rely on conventional medical care as a rule.

Here is why the Amish Rarely Get Sick or get Cancer

The Amish have chosen the traditional wisdom of our ancestors over our “modern” way of living. They live by the practices of past generations.

1. The Amish Don’t Get Vaccinated
2. The Amish Eat Organic, Locally Grown Food
3. The Amish Eat Plenty of Healthy Fats
4. The Amish People are Physically Active
5. The Amish Live Stress-Free Lives

How can organic sulfur help?

As noted in Ethan Huff’s July 22, 2010 post on Natural News, one of the benefits of organic sulfur crystals is its ability to discourage the growth of cancer cells through oxygenation.

In addition, Amazon’s summary description of Ed McCabe’s health book entitled, “Flood Your Body With Oxygen: Therapy For Our Polluted World,” contains the following passage:

Oxygen stores the sun’s energy so that all life can feed on it. If something important is taken away, everything in life goes downhill fast. The whole solution is to put back the missing oxygen back into the environment by removal of oxygen-robbing pollution, combined with reforestation, and back in the human and animal bodies through supplementation and delivery systems specializing in active forms of oxygen and minerals. This book explores these issues.

This website does not offer medical advice and provides the following dosage information as a public service to help readers make an informed decision about their health.

In response to an email question asked by a customer who is a Stage III cancer patient, I consulted with my organic sulfur supplier, Patrick McGean, who said that this individual should take a tablespoon of organic sulfur twice a day. Stage IV cancer patients are advised to take a tablespoon three times a day and drink plenty of water.

Over the years, the Cancer Tutor website has maintained numerous articles about taking MSM (the acronym for organic sulfur) and other products as part of a cancer-treating protocol. Webster Kehr from the Independent Cancer Research Foundation updated his article entitled, “The MSM / Vitamin C Treatment For Cancer,” on Oct. 12, 2016 that included the following commentary about taking organic sulfur along with chemotherapy:

This protocol is synergistic with chemotherapy and makes chemotherapy more effective and less damaging. However, if you are on any other type of prescription drug, DO NOT use organic sulfur until after you talk to your pharmacist and physician about using high doses of organic sulfur (2 or 3 tablespoons of the crystals a day) with your prescription drugs. That is what pharmacists get paid to do.

I close this report with two comments from natural health advocate, Tony Isaacs, who wrote the following in his article entitled, “Cancer is Getting Harder to Beat and Avoid.”

Cancer and the world we live in have changed a lot during the past 50 years and for that reason we do not seem to see the same successes with some of the famed treatments of prior decades, like the outstanding Budwig Diet protocol, Essiac tea, Hoxsey, Gerson, and Laetrile.

A strong immune system from proper diet and nutrition, a healthy lifestyle, elimination of stress, and proper supplementation and nutrition, is still the best way to avoid and beat cancer, especially when buttressed by herbal immune boosters and cancer fighters. But it takes diligence and effort – more so now than ever before.

In another post entitled, “What Otto Warburg Actually Discovered About Cancer,” Mr. Isaacs observed that:

The trick with trying to beat cancer with oxygen is getting the oxygen inside the cells.

Getting oxygen inside cells is what organic sulfur does.
