Reader writes: I am going to start taking organic sulfur. I have MS and cannot walk. I currently drink Essentia Water, which has a pH of 9.5. But it has added ingredients of sodium bicarbonate, dipotassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, calcium chloride, and electrolytes. Can I use this water when taking organic sulfur?
The recommended protocol is to dissolve organic sulfur in water that doesn’t contain any form of chlorine like calcium chloride, for chlorine will block the uptake of sulfur to your cells and restrict their oxygenation and healthy repair. My suggestion is to mix the sulfur in distilled or hot tap water which doesn’t contain chlorine – tap water obtained from the cold faucet contains chlorine.
If you use hot tap water, wait at least 10 minutes for the dissolved mixture to cool down before drinking it. You can still drink your Essentia Water at other times of the day. Wait at least 30 minutes after taking your sulfur beverage to drink your Essentia Water and consume all your vitamin supplements and medications. That way, the organic sulfur will have had enough time to become assimilated in your body and you will gain the benefits of both products.
