The onset of shingles is no fun. Besides headaches, common symptoms include itching, diarrhea, and a painful body rash. Read on to learn how taking organic sulfur can offer relief.
As described in a WebMD report entitled “Shingles Symptoms: Rash, Itching, Pain & More,” shingles is triggered by reactivation of the chickenpox virus. When the virus is reactivated, it travels up nerve roots along pathways that supply sensitivity to the body. Shingles can affect half the nerve endings within the neurological network, including those within the retina and pineal gland. In the Prodromal stage (before appearance of a rash), shingles sufferers often notice excessive sensitivity to light, tingling or numbness around affected nerves, and swelling and tenderness of their lymph nodes.
In this one case, an 80-year-old grandmother (let’s call her MOM) volunteers to care for a 95-year-old friend (let’s call him MIKE) because that is what she does best.
After listening to advice given on the radio, MOM starts to take organic sulfur for her health, even though she heard it was a bitter-tasting crystal. But MOM couldn’t convince her patient to take sulfur. It was suggested to her to mix the sulfur crystals in a fruit punch and put it in front of MIKE. MOM called back and said MIKE drank the punch! Shingles is triggered by the presence of the herpes zoster virus and can be a very debilitating and painful health condition.
