Soda can topI recently received an email from a web marketer who revealed that his father was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In response to his disclosure, I offer the following commentary:

Dr. Otto Warburg won the first of his two Nobel Prizes in 1931 for his research and discovery that linked cancer formation with a 35% reduction in cellular oxygen. According to a study disputed by the beverage industry, regular consumption of soft drinks raises the risk of developing pancreatic cancer.

As noted in the following report, consumers of soft drinks sweetened with aspartame run the added risk of other maladies, such as decreased night vision, tinnitus, headaches, high blood pressure, nausea, and abdominal pain.

A very prominent business executive who succumbed to pancreatic cancer a few years ago was Apple CEO Steve Jobs. While I never met Mr. Jobs during his lifetime, I know from my prior association with the tech industry that the usual type of the beverages offered at office headquarters and at corporate events were soft drinks.

As reported in a previous Organic Sulfur For Health blog article entitled, “Improve Your Health with Cholesterol, Sulfur, and Sunlight,” when our internal sources of cholesterol and sulfur are severely depleted so that our body has to steal sulfate from the pancreas, that greatly increases the risk of diabetes and pancreatic cancer.

Choose your poison: If you’re addicted to drinking soda pop, would you rather be taking drugs or insulin shots or subjecting yourself to chemotherapy and radiation treatments? Or, would you rather change course and get off the roller-coaster ride?

Organic sulfur transports oxygen throughout the body, allowing damaged cells to be repaired and healthy cells to form. Sulfur also can mitigate and reverse the harm caused by aspartame and other toxins that we ingest. Dispense with your soda pop addiction. And drink lots of water every day.
